Thank you!
No, I am not a parent. God said “No” to me concerning that
precious and high honor of a gift. But, I am a daughter.
A daughter, who found compassion within her
godly grandmother’s embrace.
You see, my life was shattered. My heart and mind shredded.
My body emaciated. And my hope – my hope as I lay writhing on the floor
because my tears consumed me – my hope was in God’s mercy!
And , faithful merciful God met me right where I was and how I was!
All of my life, my righteous grandmother spent hours before
The Living God in earnest passionate prayer. Her labor was not in vain!
Our gracious Lord Jesus Christ touched my grandmother’s mind and heart
to place a telephone call to her rebellious, lonely and yes destitute
granddaughter. The love and compassion I received that night saved my life.
So please, as you speak biblical truth unto your children – please pause and
remember – there but for the grace of God go I.
